Great experience. I was looking for a place that could satisfy my hunger since I had left home without eating and it was quiet late in my day. So i popped in to see what was up. Great staff, very courteous and attentive. I ordered one of their dinner specials which was the pot roast with a soup of the day which I believe was the lemon chicken cream? The soup was very good, blew my mind. The pot roast was awesome too, very hearty. Hands down though I would eat more of the soup because it was that good. Came with bread, packet of saltines and a slice of cake which I couldn’t finish all unfortunately but I took to go. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something hearty and warm atmosphere.
Glad we found this place. We came originally for breakfast. Everything was very good and a really good prices. Came back for 2 dinners and everything was jast as good. All the food was good, and the servers are really good. Go try them out. Plus every time we were there, the place was packed. That told me alot about the restaurant. Plus alot of free parking.
We dined during the early bird special (3-6pm). There are many choices on the menu. Each dish came with two sides, drink and dessert. All of our dishes were made from scratch. I love liver and onions and this place makes it really good. I recommend trying their Avgolemono soup-it’s a creamy lemon chicken soup. The place was busy and the people working there are kind and helpful.
Finally found an amazingly delicious Greek diner!! Casual dinner with lots of table/booth seating and a bar. I had the Rachel sandwich with sweet potato fries and omg was it good!! The rye bread was toasted perfectly, generous portion of pastrami that tasted freshly sliced, melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut was incredibly yummy!!! My sweet potato fries were fried exactly how I like them, too —crunchy on the outside, but soft inside. Fiancé ordered the gyro sandwich with seasoned fries. Also hearty portion of gyro meat. Simple sandwich, but everything was super fresh and the tzatziki sauce added so much flavor. Derroll gave excellent service, too!! Food was delivered hot and fast, funny personality and anticipated our need for more napkins delivering them before I could ask. I appreciate the little things like that.
The Peter Pan Diner gets a solid 5 of 5. I cannot think of one thing which could be done better. It’s the ideal diner experience. The ambiance is retro Florida with characteristic Greek background touches. Totally clean. When I arrived I was seated right away. My server was Susan, and she was on the ball, personable, and kept an eye out: extra napkins, refill for the water, to-go box and bag when I started to slow down. I noticed that the other servers and bus staff were operating in a similar well orchestrated flow. The food was great. I had the chicken salad club on rye toast with fries. Perfect toast, super crispy iceberg lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and chicken salad which was not sloppy, if it were pasta I’d call it al dente. Served with a little mayo on the side. The fries were hot and crispy. The cashier at checkout was pleasant; there was no wait. So, this place has got it going on.

My lemon chicken soup was amazing and the Moussaka was to die for: the most delicious I’ve ever tried!!! 😋😋😋Portions are super abundant. The pita bread was so good, like a cloud 😋😋😋😋 Prices are very reasonable. Service was super fast and our server Laura was so kind and helpful, made us feel so welcomed! Great food and great service! The food came out quick and it was all fresh, just like a home cooked meal. I liked the different eastern european dishes. The Romanian Skirt Steak & eggs and greek salad was great. And the prices are good. They have a low carb / keto section and gluten free options are possible.
We had the most incredible breakfast at the Peter Pan Diner! After receiving a super warm welcome from Jeronimos (he made us feel like family from the moment we said "hello"!), he walked us over to a window table where Birthday Girl Barbara took care of us. Barbara was the sweetest server and took really good care of us. Our food was SO DELICIOUS!!! The Hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict was the best I've ever tasted. Real homemade homefries that were seasoned perfectly! My boyfriend's pancakes were super fluffy and moist. And you couldn't beat the price! 2 breakfasts, coffee, and OJ for $30. Clean restaurant, friendly service, hot food that came out fast. When we come back to Ft. Lauderdale, we are definitely coming here again!!!
Great diner with a large menu. It was clean and efficiently run this evening. I had the chicken parmesan. It was tasty and a nice portion size at a decent price. Everyone working was friendly, but my waitress Marsha was perfect. She was kind, friendly and her job effectively.
